the drama was really ridicolous, man, but i noticed, in some of the jw objected to it as well,.
first of all my wife, she said it doesnt feel right, and she strongly disliked the music (she has no idea of my being at this forum btw).
then some friends, who also complained about it, but just to us, because they know, we do not judge them for their questions and almost doubts on some things.... i m sure there were more, but they just dont think out loud, and keep it to themselves.... anybody similar experiences ?.
I never liked the dramas, or the assemblies come to that. I did open up and say it to a sister once who then had a go at me for not appreciating ‘Jehovah’s’ provisions.
I have found out since that there were loads of people who felt the same. I think a lot of people think that it is all naff….

did jw's ever believe that animals will live forever in the paradise?
i was having a discussion with a jw friend and he said they did..
I didn’t read it anywhere but I was told by quite a few people that because animals were not made in gods image, they would die as normal.
The reasoning was that when god warned Adam about eating from the tree he would have known what death was because he saw it in the animals around him.
What the true society take on it is I really don’t know….
jesus christ was born of holy spirit, and is the son of god; the almighty.. the seed of jesus christ was placed in the womb of his earlthy mother to mature.. jesus christ was a perfect man, therrfore no impurities of imperfection passed on to jesus christ.. it is written; a bad tree cannot produce good fruit, therefore jesus christ was soley of god, and not of mary.. i am the son of man, who am i ?.
the son of man is none other then the faithful and discreet slave.......of human decent.. he will pierce the heart of satan the devil in due season.......amen.
the final blow will come from "god the almighty" as the wicked are devoured before the eyes of humankind........ we are in the final hour of human existance as we know it.

Active JW for 20 years, just to much hypocrity and doctrine changes. The last couple of years started to think the unthinkable researching the WT history and came to the conclusion it just was not Gods people.
Looking into the WT history can be quite a hard thing to do when you find out the real ‘truth’ about it all, especially after spending 20 years of your life in it.
Hope you can find a way past all of that if it is causing you any problems. Be great to hear more of your story if you have the wish and time to open up to everyone.

i rarely visit or post on this site anymore, but i had an experience today that made me decide to pop back in.
i've been an xjw long enough that the only time i think about my jw past is when one of my xjw friends (from this board or those i've met elsewhere) and i joke about shasta and fruit bags.. i've been playing on facebook and found some people who i used to know from the circuit assemblies and district conventions.
i would only contact them if i knew that they were xjws; either df'd before i left or were never "strong".
Knowing a few of my girlfriends, they would probably show up bearing a cake w/ a nail file baked inside of it. :-)
I love the fact that in your hypothetical prison sentence you are only worried about sitting there manicuring yourself……

in the late 1960s and early 1970s, i wrote my study, 1914 and all that.
in it, i stated that at matthew 24 jesus warned his followers against seeing wars, earthquakes and famines as being signs.
i have not wavered from that position, which i have given in my posts here at times.. .
